Studio Joa Herrenknecht was listed as one of '50 Best German Interior Designers' presented in the new Design Book by Distanz Verlag. The studio is happy to have received the German Design Award 2018 and 'best new objects of Salone 2018, Milan' by AD Magazine, France. 'My design studio is based in Berlin, which is from where my quirky mind comes up with new designs. Materials and colours are what makes crazy and happy, that is what inspires me to go forward. I have an easygoing approach to the design process, which to me, shall always be liberal and fun – that is very inspiring in itself.'
