FAQ's

ARE ALL OF YOUR PRODUCTS FROM DENMARK?

All of our products are designed by Danish homeware designers based in Denmark. The manufacturing location of the products will vary. Many of the ceramics are made in Portugal and many of the beautiful textiles are made in India due to our designers having a close partnership with some of India's finest hand block printers and textile experts.

 

MY PRODUCT IS DAMAGED ON DELIVERY
We hope you love your order from us, however if you discover damage to your item(s) please send us: a damage claim email, a photo of the damage and your order number to info@shekåbba.com within 8 days of receipt of goods. If we receive the written claim later than 8 days after delivery, the damage claim will be rejected. 

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER YET - IT IS NOW PAST THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY PERIOD.
The 1-2 working days for Express Delivery excludes weekends and bank holidays.  If you have chosen our Standard Delivery, 3-5 working days is the Royal Mail’s estimated window for delivery. Please note this is only an approximation and may sometimes take longer. For example due to: busy times of year (Christmas and January), adverse weather conditions and/or if you live in outlying postcodes of the U.K. (Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, The Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Guernsey).

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A DELIVERY CONFIRMATION EMAIL OR TEXT.

If you have selected Express Delivery, your parcel will be sent with DPD, you will receive a text or email from DPD as soon as your item has been dispatched from our warehouse, allowing you to track your item/ arrange delivery with them.

If we have used Royal Mail (1st or 2nd Class) as the courier for your purchase, you will not receive any direct contact from Royal Mail before your delivery, if you miss a delivery they will post a missed delivery slip through your door to notify you and allow you to rearrange. 

MY PRODUCT LOOKS DIFFERENT TO PHOTO ON THE WEBSITE.
While the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for variation in colour caused by PC monitors or software used to view our products. Products, especially our ceramics, will vary to some degree from the exact photos on the website. This is due to individual dyes and glazing used in the handcrafting process. The look and intensity of colour will vary from item to item. Therefore, please note that all items are unique and might vary from the colours shown in our photos. The crackle look will increase with usage. Varieties in colour such as small spots and unevenness may occur. These charming imperfections add rustic character and are not considered defects. The types of glazes are “crackle” glaze and “reactive” glaze. For both types, the crackle effect is part of the product and therefore intended. The different colour effects in the glaze occur by mixing pure mineral oxides at high temperature.

Currently we do not offer a pre-order facility. If an item that you love is out of stock, the best way to keep updated with all of our re-stocks, new arrivals and special offers is by following us on social media or signing up to our newsletter.

DO YOU TAKE INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
Currently Shekåbba only delivers to addresses within the UK.

HOW DO I RETURN MY PRODUCT?
Please send us a return summary email along with your order number to info@shekåbba.com.

Then return your item(s) in perfect condition, all original packaging/labelling  and a print out of your order confirmation email to:

We recommend that you use registered delivery and keep the proof of posting receipt as we cannot be responsible for return parcels that fail to reach us. Items must be returned within 14 days of signed receipt. The cost of returning the item(s) will be paid for by the customer. If we are happy with the returned condition of your product, we will issue a full refund to the same card by which it was purchased.
