Thomsen studied at the Danish School of Design, now having his own successful Design Studio in the Danish city of Aarhus. "I'm a passionate and dedicated designer who simply loves the craft. I relish the design process which caters tenderly for our senses within the finished piece. The designs we surround ourselves with must be able to support everyday life. The best design offers this help on a daily basis, without the user ever considering it's functionality, only it's the beauty."
